Inter-American Parliamentary Group on Population and Development

The IAPG strives for a world where all people can live free from violence and all forms of discrimination and for a democratic society where the human rights of all citizens are respected and national resources are distributed fairly and efficiently; a world with a human development agenda and population policies that incorporate a gender perspective and a human rights-based approach, which are prioritized by parliamentarians in order to achieve equality between men and women.
